LETTER IN SUPPORT OF APPLICATION BY ANIL MITRA FOR UNITES STATES
CITIZENSHIP
I have known Anil Mitra well for three years. My
primary contact with him is at work at Sempervirens, the locked inpatient
psychiatric facility for Humboldt County, California. His position is Mental
Health Worker providing primary observation and care for patients. As
supervising nurse I am responsible for observing and directing his work and
evaluating his performance. We work together eight hours a day three-five days
a week.
Anil's work is consistently of high to outstanding
quality. He frequently provides input beyond the requirements of his position
and the level of his training. He is concerned about the quality of the service
provided and demonstrates this by taking the initiative in a number of ways. He
provides an excellent orientation for new employees. The provision of
psychiatric care involves a number of risks and Anil is always reliable in this
regard. In addition to the high quality of his individual performance, he is
also a dependable employee, a team player with a positive attitude towards
clients, other employees and the public.
I had briefly worked with Anil at a local skilled
nursing facility in 1990 where I had a good impression of Anil and his work.
I have also had social contact with Anil outside
work. I have found him to be friendly, fair, caring and respectful in his
dealings with others.
Based on my contact with Anil Mitra, I support his
application for citizenship of The United States, without hesitation or
reservation.
