ktophamTNRCC: Pretty good. Carissa and I were in JP Court last week to face the 3rd set of truancy charges against us. Charges were dropped against me. Carissa has to pay court costs, take a class 4 Saturdays in April, perform 80 hours of community service, and report back to the court in August with a recent school attendance report.
Anilmitra: Well, the law is the law... but still rather strange. How is everything else? Carissa's life and so on...
ktophamTNRCC: Carissa has been working as a hostess at a restaurant about 4 evenings a week for the past 3-4 months. Yesterday, she said she thinks she has found a job working aftenoons at a day care beginning later this month.
Anilmitra: That's good. Please give her my love. My project is coming along well. My girl friend is at my house now. We are having a discussion on how to discuss things. How is Beverly, Danica?
ktophamTNRCC: Carissa overall seems happier now, attends her new charter school much better than her traditional high school, and has been working part time since October (3 jobs so far). However, she spend to many nights partying, drinking, etc.
ktophamTNRCC: "spend to" should read "spends too"
Anilmitra: Thank you for the news. It is better than it has been in the past... but, any news is better than no news.
ktophamTNRCC: Danica is living with me until summer and is doing well in school (6th grade). She got braces on her teeth in October. After losing her 3rd pair of glasses in a year, I bought contact lenses for her last Sunday. She has both arms in casts, having broken both wrists at soccer practice 4 weeks ago today.
Anilmitra: Please give my love to Danica. She seems to be trouble prone. I hope you are doing well personally.
ktophamTNRCC: Thanks. Considering everything, Danica is bearing up well and seems mentally healthy. There is not much communication and still some strife between Beverly & Louis and myself; this is sometimes hard for Danica to deal with. Carissa does not interact very much at all with Bev and Louis.
Anilmitra: I hope things get better... Beverly has always been hard to get along with.
