Mountain lion sighting

On Thursday, September 24, 2026, I saw a mountain lion as I was walking north on Canyon Creek Road at about the 12-mile bridge. I was south and the lion was north of the bridge; it crossed the road from east to the mining claim area on the west—it may have been following the path of the creek; apparently did not recognize my presence; I felt an adrenaline surge—and subjectively caution rather than fear; I’ve not see mountain lions in daylight before, but from pictures, it may have been a sub-adult but close to adult.
