Hi Joan

Your letter came about a month ago. Meanwhile I have gotten somewhat used to living in an Apartment with lots of neighbors. I plan to stay here at least through another round of website work and paring possessions.

I’ve been working on the site. I think one of the last things I did at your house was “Experiments in the Transformation of Being.” Perhaps I did that here. Anyway that was the first version and it was a compilation of various documents: Vision, Dynamics of Reality and Being, Yoga, Mediation, Dreams, Journey with a summary and description of concept and purpose. The next version will integrate the different parts, rework, and re-plan the final section Experiments. Another article I have been working on is Words; that is a compilation of concepts and contents from the documents: Basic Words [with syntax,] Being Words, Mind Words and Mind Words II, Knowledge Words. Bringing these different kinds of words together in a single document allows there to be a coherent concept and a better organization. The concept is that the kinds of [meanings of] words that are possible and the kinds of word combinations [sentences, syntax] reflect the kind of world in which we live or, more accurately, our concept or [implicit] representation of that world. I.e., syntax, and use and meaning reflect and are informed by our natural metaphysics. So words examines metaphysical possibility and its relation to language [linguistic] possibility

As a result of these developments the set of core essays [Metaphysics, Words, Mind, Knowledge, Magic, Evolution, Design, The Absolute, Computers-Beings-Minds, Being, Experiments-in-the-Transformation-of-Being, Action] is becoming more comprehensive, coherent.

Yesterday I went to the Trinity River. I saw the neatest thing. There was a bunch of ducks swimming about in a placid spot. Suddenly one of them separated from the rest; the one was an adult white and orange and the others were little – brown ducklings. They began paddling towards some rapids, the “parent” in front. They got to another placid spot and began, briefly, milling around. The cycle repeated itself - parent leading over another set of rapids, this time around a huge rock, little ones paddling furiously apparently trying to avoid going round the “wrong” way. I watched until they disappeared in the distance.

How are you doing and what are your plans?

Love,

Anil
