according to the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor 2000 study, conducted by a
prestigious group of researchers. India has significant entrepreneurial

billion by 2004, of which 5 per cent, or about $30 billion, could go to
Indian companies, according to a Goldman Sachs Global Equity Research
report. The growing deficit of knowledge workers in the US is cited as a
large opportunity for the Indian IT services sector. The number of bachelor
degrees in Computer Science awarded by US universities fell 41.7 per cent
in 1995 to 24,404 from 41,889 in 1986.
